Wishing you a Happy New Year with a not-so-subtle reminder that Ultrasylvania, Vol. 2, will kick off here in precisely one week – Monday, January 7th. This means a return to on-going storytelling, with a fresh page three times a week. Also, if you’re just discovering us, it would be a great jumping-on point. Well, actually…. While you’re waiting for this next week to pass, you can actually start from the very beginning by clicking right here.
A few weeks back, Jeremy and I were interviewed by the good folks at Nosferatu TV, wherein we discussed the origins of Ultrasylvania, the challenges of reinventing classic characters, and the notion of turning this world into a role-playing game. You can listen to it right here.
Ran this on the site a few weeks back, but decided to keep things a little more readily accessible for posterity. Sure. That sounds good. Herein resides our interview with Elisabeth Allie of Things From Another World. You can buy Volume One over there, too. Jeremy gets a nice moment here:
The biggest moment for me was probably the first “walk through” we did of the book with everyone together, when we had all the pages penciled. It was the first time I saw the scope of the book and the quality of the art in one go. After that, I was confident we had something that people would be interested in checking out, and the success and support that’s followed has, for me, been incredible.
Still doing a bit of holiday shopping for those lovers of comics and/or classic film monsters? Perhaps consider Volume One of our little opus. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, you can find it at these fine establishments:
