So much juiciness in here – the inside of the mausoleum and loading of Ileana’s coffin, the long shadows of Victor and the windowpane in the middle panel, those excerpts from the doctor’s journal, the hulking figure of Victor leading the procession into the cemetery.
Yes. I truly froth over some of the artwork in this comic. I won’t apologize.

A couple days ago, Warren Ellis posted a bit on what he deems the sad lack of dramatic webcomic strips. I know Mr. Ellis knows we exist. In fact, he quizzed me briefly via Twitter before giving our Kickstarter a generous re-Tweet. Nevertheless, I still feel compelled enough to offer up this little bit of me stretching high and waving furiously in an effort to signal others, “Here! We’re over HERE!”
