If you didn’t already know, then you can certainly see by the dingus to the side – our Kickstarter campaign was a success! 367 backers shot us $3,000 over our funding goal. Never expected that. I am further humbled by the fact that the majority of our supporters are neither family members nor friends. While those circles certainly got behind us – and there’s no way we could have done it without them -  it looks as though most backers found us via this site, various forums, Twitter, and Kickstarter itself. The fact that Ultrasylvania has piqued the curiosity of folks from all over the US and as far away as the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and Australia…. I am in awe.

Thanks to this swell of support, the first edition of Ultrasylvania will ship to our backers in mid-October. The book will then debut to the public at both New York Comic Con (Oct. 11-14) and the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco (Oct. 13-14). Expect availability via Amazon and other retailers – both online and brick-and-mortar – soon thereafter. The webcomic will continue to roll out here on its timely schedule.

What’s next? Well…. I’m sweating over the final details of the script for Volume 2, writing this post when I should be writing that. The artists – some new, some returning – get cracking this Thursday. No time to waste….
