One of my favorite memories surrounding the creation of this page – listening to Jeremy complain ad nauseum that he “hated” Valerio for creating that top panel. As an art director and instructor, Jeremy is very free-wheeling with his praise – and equally open and self-deprecating about his occasional fits of envy. I think Jeremy would have willingly had that image tattooed on his forearm – though, there’s no way his wife would’ve allowed that – just to bask in its overall beauty and to remind himself, “Dammit! Why didn’t I do that?”

Also, as you’ve no doubt noticed from the little dingus to your left, the Ultrasylvania Kickstarter campaign reached its goal a couple days ago! We are all thrilled and blown away by the response this project has received. I’ll spare us all and save any long-winded gratuities until the campaign is officially over. That’s right. Even though we’ve hit our goal, the campaign will still run its course until August 31. Ergo, if you’re still thinking about throwing your hat in the ring and getting that first edition of Ultrasylvania – and some other sweet rewards – then you have one week to do so. Don’t think about it too long….
