Victor is just so awkward. That said, I knew that I didn’t want him to stammer, or say “Uh”, when speaking with Ileana. By this time, he’d spent roughly thirty years as a head of state. Even if flummoxed by beauty, at worst he’d pause and consider his words – which I have him do from time to time. He’s well-spoken and clear, but still talks around subjects that might make him uncomfortable. I imagine he even played this conversation over in his head for a good half hour before tracking her down.

she is a snake…it is in the eyes, Victor!
Just got caught up with the comic. I’m really enjoying the different artist’s takes on the characters and settings. The story looks like it will be a fun ride. Keep up the good work to everyone involved!
Ahhh–I just powered through this comic after seeing it featured on io9–it’s exquisite. I’m awe-struck. The way that the writing and the artistry has rendered these characters and their historical backgrounds is so fantastic. I can’t wait to read more–better yet, in print.
Thanks for all the love and support. Glad you’re all enjoying it so. Safe to say we’re all really pleased and blown away that Ultrasylvania resonates with so many folks. You stick with us and we’ll keep telling the story. There’s much more to come!
